Career Highlights

  • Representing the Sonoma Land Trust in litigation to enforce a conservation easement against intentional removal of historic oak trees and destruction of habitat (Sonoma Land Trust v. Thompson (2021) 63 Cal.App.5th 978).
  • Serving as general and outside counsel to land trusts, advising on conservation easements and fee owned properties, and supporting enforcement efforts to protect conservation land.
  • Helping the Transbay Joint Powers Authority and Sacramento Area Flood Control Agency to acquire land and easements for important infill, public transportation, and flood safety projects.
