Career Highlights

  • Advising multiple Bay Area cities on California’s complex housing laws including the State Density Bonus Law, SB 35 Streamlining, the Housing Accountability Act, and the Housing Crisis Act of 2019.
  • Resolving title issues and coordinating closings on over a dozen land transactions for the Peninsula Open Space Trust, as well as assisting with additional transactions and legal issues for other land trusts.
  • Representing the Treasure Island Development Authority to implement its public trust land swap agreement with the State Lands Commission, including subdivision mapping, easement acquisition and dedication, and complex real estate closings.
  • Successfully represented the East Bay Regional Park District in overcoming a challenge to its authority to independently manage its resources on park property (Save Lafayette Trees v. East Bay Regional Park District (2021) 66 Cal.App.5th 21).
